The association IDP works for culture, graphic arts and visual creation. Its purpose is to support the activities of artists/authors in the fields of graphic arts and visual creation. This in particular by facilitating the financing and promotion of innovative projects carried out by talents living in Switzerland and/or by Swiss living abroad. Through publications, a series of conferences, exhibitions and a competition, the association offers, on the other hand, a wide spectrum of activities and supports to contribute to the topicality of themes relating to graphic arts and visual creation.

The various activities of the association are thus aimed at graphic designers, typographers, photographers, artists, researchers, historians, ethnographers, curators, authors, journalists, publishers, etc., of all nationalities, who wish to join a wider community of specialists.

Individuals or groups interested in the aims of the association can become members.
Membership only extends to people that live and work in Switzerland.

The member fee is CHF 100.-/year.

 

The IDP Club brings together people of reference in the fields of graphic arts and visual creation, and are invited by the committee with regard to the quality and consistency of their support for the activities of the association.

Note: The magazine IDPURE is now a part of the association IDP – Independent design Publications.
By punctually offering an overview of contemporary trends and challenges in visual creation, the association is a direct extension of the activities carried out since 2004, specifically through the publication IDPURE.
